Privacy Policy

Effective Date: June 22, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Platview LLC ("Platview," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with our automated aerial inspection platform and related services (the "Service"). It applies to our website at platview.io and to the customers, authorized users, and communities we serve.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Account information. Names, email addresses, organization names, and credentials of property managers and authorized users who register for or are invited to the platform.
  • Community and boundary data. Community names, boundary geometries, acreage, property counts, and inspection preferences provided when a community is set up.
  • Aerial imagery and analysis. Drone-captured, top-down aerial imagery of communities, processed orthomosaic imagery, AI-generated findings, and property addresses associated with those findings.
  • Inquiry and lead information. Information you submit through our demo or contact forms, such as your name, company, email, community count, and any message you provide.
  • Usage and device data. Log data, IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and similar technical information collected automatically when you use the website or platform.
  • Cookies and analytics identifiers. Identifiers set by us and by analytics and advertising tools to measure traffic and ad performance (see Section 6).

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including planning flights, processing imagery, generating findings, and delivering reports;
  • Authenticate users, manage accounts, and communicate with you about your account, submissions, and inspections;
  • Respond to demo requests and other inquiries;
  • Improve, secure, and develop the Service, including training and refining our analytical models as described in Section 5;
  • Measure and improve the performance of our website and advertising; and
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as follows:

  • Service providers. We use trusted third parties to host and operate the Service, including cloud hosting and database providers, object storage, compute providers for image processing, email delivery providers, and AI model providers that analyze aerial imagery. These providers process information on our behalf and are bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
  • Within your organization. Information about a community is accessible to authorized users within the property management organization that manages it.
  • Legal and safety. We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Platview, our customers, or others.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to this Policy.

4. Aerial Imagery and Property Privacy

Aerial imagery is captured by licensed, insured drone operators holding current FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificates, in compliance with applicable FAA regulations, typically from approximately 300 feet above ground level. Imagery captures exterior, top-down views of properties and does not intentionally capture interior spaces, windows, or identifiable individuals. Flights are conducted only over communities for which our customer has represented it holds the necessary authorization.

5. De-Identified and Aggregated Data

We may create and retain aggregated and de-identified data derived from the Service to improve our products, train and refine our analytical models, conduct research, and for other business purposes. De-identified data is stripped of geographic identifiers, property addresses, community names, and other information that could reasonably be used to identify a specific property, community, or individual. We do not attempt to re-identify de-identified data.

6. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, remember your session, measure traffic, and evaluate the effectiveness of our marketing. This includes Google tools (such as Google Ads and related conversion measurement), which may set cookies and collect usage data subject to Google's own privacy terms. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect some features. Where required by law, we will obtain consent before setting non-essential cookies.

7. Data Retention

We retain account and community-specific identifiable data (including aerial imagery, property-level findings, reports, and address-linked records) for as long as your account is active and, after termination, for up to twelve (12) months, after which it may be deleted. You may request earlier deletion of community-specific identifiable data in writing, and we will comply within sixty (60) days. We may retain de-identified and aggregated data indefinitely as described in Section 5, and may retain certain records longer where required by law.

8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration, including encryption in transit and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to opt out of certain uses. To exercise these rights, contact us at team@platview.io. We will respond consistent with applicable law. You may also unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link in those emails; we may still send you service-related communications.

10. Children's Privacy

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Third-Party Links

Our website may link to third-party sites or services that we do not control. This Policy does not apply to those sites, and we encourage you to review their privacy practices.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the updated Policy on this page and revise the effective date above. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify customers via email or through the platform.
